The mermaid was hand sculpted from clay and painted with acrylics. The background is Canvas panel and foam board also painted with acrylics. The seashells and sand are real and the coral is painted craft sponge. The colors are very bright and beautiful. It is 3 dimensional, 18x22x5 inches. If you like mermaids or the ocean you will love this on your wall! It is so much more beautiful in person!
